Volunteers
Most of
the coaches are parents, and although it may be argued that they
assume a more profiled position by standing in the middle of a field
evey are nothing but a front for the small army of dedicated
volunteers who ensure that every weekly sessions or match runs
smoothly.

Whether it's putting the
goals up (and taking them down) every Saturday & Sunday morning,
helping with the bacon butties, drinks, TGFC Newsletter, clearing
up, or ferrying players to matches. They're all jobs that need to be
done in order to ensure that your child gets the opportunity to kick
a ball.

Like most well
oiled machines, every component plays it's own integral part. Every
time someone picks up a brush or picks up a stack of cones, the part
played contributes to the ongoing development and success of the
club.

On training days and match days, the committee and it's coaches don't always
get the opportunity to show their gratitude for the help they
receive, but you can rest assured the appreciation is
unquestionable.
Coming along to training or
matches? Please read our soccer parent section.
