Saturday 04 Nov and the Trojans had a trip to Ripley. We were up against a team who had recorded 2 great results in their first 2 matches and the Trojans had been promised an ice cream from Coach Mike if they won.

We started off in typical Trojan form, working hard putting in the effort and standing up to some good attacking with true grit and determination. Unfortunately we lost the game, but we really made the opposition work hard for their victory.

In the second game we fought back from an early goal to equalise in true Trojan fashion. April won the ball in mid-field, passed to Becks who took on a player and then passed wide to Scott, he made a determined run up the wing and crossed inside where Edward was waiting. He showed great composure in controlling the ball and moving in towards goal. He took his time, picked his spot and the Trojans were on the score sheet. HURRAH.

Today we saw a terrific display of goal keeping from Edward and some fantastic defending from Stephanie, Catherine, Ashley and Eugene. Scott had an outstanding game in the 2nd match and Becks, Alexander and April really got involved showing some good touches and skills
