About the Club

Since its formation in 2002 by a few willing parents and a handful of enthusiastic children, Tockwith Juniors FC has become a force to be reckoned with in the York and Harrogate area.

Teams from U10's through to U15's regularly compete in local leagues such as the York Mitchell League, York Ryedale League, York Minor League and York Girls Football League as well as a number of tournaments around the area. Friendly games are arranged at all levels so that as many players as possible get a taste of match football.

Creating a safe environment in which youngers can develop their soccer skills to their full potential is a important aim of the club. The U6's, U7's & U8's teams, who play friendly 'mini-soccer' matches in the Nidderdale League, allow youngsters to learn the basics skills at their own pace, while having fun. All training sessions are run by Qualified Football Association Coaches , with Level 1 and Level 2 Accreditations.

The club maintains its Charter Standard status and success on the field has been enhanced by a growing reputation for fair play and inclusively. Thanks to our dedicated groundstaff we enjoy excellent facilities envied throughout the area. A warm welcome ensures that visting clubs enjoy their visit to Tockwith.

Engaging the team... ...results in fun for all

The club is run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of the local community. Volunteers arevery welcome, not just coaches, to keep the club running and the football fun flowing. Fancy helping out? Any of the coaches will let you know how to get involved.
